Arthur Read funny moments that are more understandable as an adult

Our protagonist, together with his friends and family from Marc Brown's book series, have been amusing and educating us since September 2,1996. Marc Brown told the first Arthur story when his son requested a bedtime story about a “weird animal." Arthur Read is and always will be eight years old, he, as a little part of our soul will never grow up. Whereas many animated series employ adult voice actors for continuity, most of the characters on Arthur who are supposed to be children are voiced by child actors. Because of this, Arthur himself has been voiced by seven different actors (and counting).

1. No bond is stronger than sisterly love.

The tensions between Arthur and his four-year-old sister, Dora Winifred "D.W." Read, are a common theme in the Arthur series. Arthur is constantly pestered by D.W., and she usually tries to get Arthur into trouble.

2. When I was a child, I was scared of clowns, and then suddenly my emotions took a turn.

Arthur tries his best to ignore D.W.'s annoying antics most of the time and often does her favors - sometimes at his parents' request and against his will. D.W. also make frequent attempts to hang out with Arthur's friends.

3. We all know a child who's main pursuit at a get-together is everyone's mood destroying.

The adults in Arthur play important roles: Mr. and Mrs. Read display a significant amount of stress from parenting, Arthur's friends' parents are shown struggling in middle-class jobs, and Mr. Ratburn endures the demands and expectations of teaching elementary school. Even in difficult, adult situations, these grown ups maintain a cheerful attitude.

4. The one character who's always curious and horning in on acquaintances actions and behaviors. The fals gossip always departs from his mouth.

Arthur's closest friend Buster Baxter remains anyways. He is easygoing, fun-admiring, and somewhat odd. He has a strong interest in space aliens, so spending a day with him would not include only football and playing cards. His easygoing personality often takes its toll on his performance at school: he sometimes has trouble finishing reports or math assignments, so Arthur always has to demonstrate his best friends qualities by helping out his by-far favorite rabbit classmate.

5. The inconsiderate and indiscreet invitee is constantly showing up at every occasion, even if the rest of the group is praying on the standoff. After showing up, the spiteful notes from him as a rule poisons the basic atmosphere.

Francine is very determined, perhaps even restless. At the start of the show, she was very rude and hot tempered. If anybody said something about her, Francine misinterpreted it as criticism and left the room.

6. Dora'd rather act like a pet, instead of cleaning the house as her mother commanded. She thinks her family won't realise she's home.

7. When after a day of practice, you apostrophe yourself as a professional.

Arthur is known to "play with his glasses" whenever he lies, which Dora Winifred has caught him doing before. Arthur has the potential to be an intelligent person but tends to be one who doesn't use common sense.

8. When invited to a party, the hairdresser's doing your coiffure based on her own sence of taste. That's the awkward moment, when you regret you've made an appointment. Even showing up with greasy hair would've looked better.

Francine prefers to wear clothes that are normally worn by boys, thus making her a tomboy.

Except if you read this sentence, 'couse it means you made to the last few words. Hope we succeeded in putting a tiny smile on your face, whilest checking our post. We'll be waiting for you to come back.
