The Simpson’s scenarios were written by a forecaster?

Our notorious animated comedy predicted several major life events in an eerily precise way, fact that proves: it’s much more than just a regular TV show. This series just passed its 30th birthday, thereby became the longest-running cartoon in the animations history.

It’s pretty weird that plenty of predictions The Simpsons put on the screen have been fulfilled during the past years. Here are 5 of their most notable oracles:

Trump’s presidency

The Simpsons predicted the results of the most divisive election back in the 2000’s, right 16 years before it actually happened. Trump was considered by the society a well-made joke candidate and they did not thought that his presidency could become a reality. But it has became real, and the show warned us all heatedly.

Shocking Game of Thrones near-final

We can obviously say, it was one of the most dramatic episodes in the entire Game of Thrones series. In turn, fans declared that the very first episode of The Simpsons season 29 softly indicated the dragon’s heated destruction. They watched as a kite burns down their hometown – similar story to the burning devastation of King’s Landing in one of the final episodes of the respective HBO series.

Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl performance

Lady Gaga enchanted the world when she performed an amazing Super Bowl halftime show three years before, in 2017. She even jumped through the roof merely in a harness. More than that, Gaga had a role in the series, she actually played herself in an episode of the Simpsons in 2012. She was presenting her well-known single: Poker Face to the audience in Springfield, and her choreography resembles straightly to her 5 years later performance in the Super Bowl.

Syrian revolt

During the controversial action in this episode, Bart Simpson and his pals are tumbling bombs in an unfamiliar Arab country. This clip was made in 2001, than the Egyptian TV claimed in 2014, that the writers of the animated comedy knew what was going to happen in Syria. By then, conspiracy theories flying around this topic, claiming that the flag featured of the illustrated van looks surprisingly similar to the Syrian flag that protesters began waving in 2011.

Smartwatches invention

In one of the Simpsons 1995’s episodes, one of the characters used a phone on her wrist, as a smartwatch. Almost 20 years from the incidence, Apple released the Apple watch. The show seemed to be spot on with predicting how technology would progress.

Guess we need to start watching The Simpsons attentively.

Do you know anything else that was predicted by the Simpsons?
