Johnny Bravo is a character modeled on Elvis Presley who is a strong and extremely muscular man who gives himself a lot of looks. He finds himself a huge female seducer, but he is not very successful among women. His conquests usually end in a slap or two. We collected 5 interesting facts about this macho man below:

1. Moves Like ... Jackson

Johnny Bravo is a character modeled after Elvis Presley, but did you know his body language and his movements were inspired by The King himself, Michael Jackson?

2. His birthday is on a special day

The creators don't say what year Johnny was born, but we know he celebrates his birthday on the 14th of February every year. In the third season, there’s an episode called Valentine’s Day in which Johnny celebrates his birthday. However, the celebration did not turn out as expected, because every woman turns him down. Thankfully, his mother arranges him a date who turns his head. This is the one-time things turn out well for Johnny. Must be that Valentine’s luck.

3. Jonny`s voice is a mix of old and young Elvis

When Partible told the eventual voice of Johnny Bravo, Jeff Bennett, that he wanted the character to sound like Elvis, Bennett only had one question: Old or young? Bennett explained that they’re basically two unique voices, with a younger Elvis sounding much faster and more energetic, while the elder Presley would require Bennett to deepen and “slow it down.” Partible asked for something more in the middle, resulting in the signature Bravo voice. While Partible heard a lot of Elvis impersonators for the role, he said Bennett was the only one to go beyond imitation and become an actual character.

4. The Lost Episodes

Just like any other cartoon, Johnny Bravo has episodes that haven’t been released yet. For example, the part where Johnny’s mother became addicted to gambling never got on the screens. The creators thought that this episode would not have a good impact on young people.

5. He's not the first Johnny Bravo

The creators actually got that name from an episode of The Brady Bunch. It came from an episode called “Adios, Johnny Bravo,” where Greg, one of the actors on the show, was signed to a rock star named Johnny Bravo.

What was the most surprising thing for you?
